Julie is affectionately known as the Children's Yoga and Creative Movement Guru!  She is the creator and lead instructor of “Kids in Motion” and “Creative Moves”.  Julie’s lively and imaginative physical fitness classes help young children discover the pure joy of movement as they develop body awareness, strength, flexibility, coordination, and self-esteem. Julie’s Children’s and Family Yoga Classes are fun and full of joy. Self-confidence builds as children practice yoga together in a non-competitive, nurturing environment. Children become skilled at focusing and relaxing. Julie believes that developing a yoga practice at a young age helps children discover their true essence, connect with their innate intelligence and learn how to self-care.  Yoga teaches children to respect and appreciate themselves, others and everything around them.

Julie's Vinyasa flow teaching style focuses on integrating alignment and mindfulness with the breath. Julie's classes combine the fluidity of natural movement with inner power of yoga asanas.  Her Teen and Adult classes focus on breathing and centering, invigorating and relaxing the body, increasing strength, flexibility and balance, quieting the mind and nurturing a deep sense of connectedness and awareness.

Julie's Teen Yoga Classes provide this age group with the time and space to participate in a non-competitive physical activity that encourages individuality and self-expression.  Yoga helps teens develop coping skills for dealing with peer pressure, daily challenges and stressful situations.
